Mary Poppins Returns
Wednesday took us to the theater. The weather was supposed to be raining, but it cleared up by late morning and turned into a gorgeous day. But since I expected it to be gross all day we planned a movie day. Mary Poppins Returns was playing at the dollar theater (in Lewisville), so we took the whole gang, Ryan took off from work early to join us. The kids, including Brianna, did pretty well and since it was the dollar theater, we didn't feel too bad if they were noisy or up and down a lot. Brianna was a little wiggly and had too much soda because she needed several potty breaks during the movie.
It was really nice to have Ryan there and we even managed to be able to sit together during the movie. It was almost like a date!
We enjoyed the movie and it was a nice experiment to see if going to the movies as a family is something we can explore more in the future. I think we're almost there.
