ADDY GETS A NEW DO
Monday we went over to my friend, Christa Cox's house. She LOVES to dye hair and often does her own in fun crazy colors. I asked her if she would be willing to help me get Addy's hair back to a more natural color. And she happily agreed. I just needed to pay for the supplies and she would take care of the rest.
We originally dyed her hair before Halloween a purple to match her costume. We colored it with semipermanent color thinking it would wash out in a month or two.
We were mostly successful, but what was left was a light coppery red color. I kinda liked it, but Addy did not.
We went to Christa's house with all the kids. She and Addy went to work on her hair in the bathroom and the kids got to run and play outside. Kyra was begrudgingly left to "babysit". And Addy was given a civics/politics lesson.

After about four hours- Addy has A LOT of hair- it came out a nice dark blonde/brown color. No funny colored streaks. She is happy that it's not what it was, but not so thrilled with how dark it is. I keep telling her it'll lighten up a bit in a few weeks and especially as she spends more time outside and swimming in the summer. (not the greatest picture of her hair, but it gives you an idea of the color.)
