The day started with us accidentally sleeping in. Either I turned off the alarm accidentally or it never went off. We happened to wake up 20-minutes before the kids needed to leave for school. So a crazy hurry-hurry-hurry happened to get them all ready to go. They all made it to school on time, so I'm grateful for that.
The rest of the day was fairly calm. Once the kids got home from school things picked back up again, and since it's Wednesday that means lots of going to and fro from one kid's meeting to the next.
Ryan worked from home today which made it much easier to get kids places since I didn't have to figure out when I was going to be able to get him from work. We are hoping our tax return comes in the next day or two and we can get the Honda figured out. If not, we have a plan in place to get the car worked on no later than Friday. (Keep your figures crossed that whatever is wrong is a relatively inexpensive fix.)
Tonight at Young Women's the girls had New Beginnings. This was a special year because it is the first year for Addy to be a beehive. They did a little spotlight on her and she got a king-sized Milky Way as a treat. It was a really nice evening that the youth can share with the parents and new girls about Young Women's and what it's all about.
