MY BABY WENT TO HER FIRST DANCE TONIGHT!!!!!!! That's right, you read right, Kyra went to her first dance AND SHE DANCED WITH BOYS!!!!! FOUR BOYS! I'm not sure how we feel about this, but we're really excited she had a good time. She said that there were times she was scared the floor would collapse due to all the people dancing and jumping to the music, so she would back up toward the walls. She was still pretty timid about getting out there and dancing to the fast songs too, but I'm proud that when a boy got the courage to ask her to dance she said yes. She even said she liked to dance the slow songs.

Ryan went shooting this morning with the guys. He had a really good time shooting his pistol and some riffles some of the other men brought. It was a cold morning here and it is an outdoor range, so he was bundled up nice and warm when he left. They spend a couple of hours at the gun range. I'm glad he got to go do something fun that wasn't family or work-related. He needed a chance to unwind and have that break.

A few weeks ago a friend of mine suggested a girl's night out. That idea met with great enthusiasm from a few of us there and so a night was planned. We went out to a Spring Creek BBQ, grabbed our food, grabbed a table, ate, and chatted for four hours. It was so great to be able to go out and enjoy an evening talking about everything with other adults. I hope it becomes a more regular thing!
