Some friends of ours celebrate Chinese New Year. This year they invited a bunch of people over to celebrate and enjoy good food and company. It was such a blast to visit with everyone and let the kids run wild for a few hours. They had some traditional Chinese dishes- pot stickers, fried rice, dumplings, etc.
It was nice out today, so the kids were able to play outside during the celebration to play with toys and on their swing set. The older girls were a bit bored since there wasn’t anyone their age and gender there a good portion of the time, but I think they enjoyed their time there anyway.
