Today was a beautifully sunny and warm day and perfect for a trip to the park. Even with the promise of ice cream afterward, only Joselyn, Layla, and Brianna were willing to go out and play. They had so much fun and it was a great little park/playground nearby in our neighborhood. It is an older kid playground, so it was the first time we'd been to it.
I can officially say that our Sunday Miracle was an isolated event. Much more complaining and less willing to work today than yesterday. BUT, I am happy to report that individual scripture time was meet with no complaining (except Miss J who said I was taking too long to read with her- I was finishing dishes) and quick work to do their daily assignment. I LOVE IT!!
Tomorrow the kids return to school after a really long Christmas break. I am super excited to get my routine back, having kids around really makes it hard for me to keep caught up. I'm working on that, but other things need attention first. The kids aren't very excited to be going back. I can't say I'm looking forward to the early wake-up call to get breakfast going, and kids ready and off to school.
