This morning, after kids went to school, Brianna and I headed to the gym. She was not as excited to go as usual but ended up having a fun time anyway. We got there a bit earlier than my friends, so I climbed onto an elliptical for about 30 minutes. I just went at my own pace and didn't think anything of it. That is until I got home and sat down for a while. I stood up to make some lunch and I almost didn't make it upright. I was a tad sore. Nothing like last week with my hip, but enough to feel it.

Kyra spent the afternoon at a friend's house to work on a project. They have to make a dish from another country to present to the class. Other than a mess it seems to have worked out for them. Kyra said their first batched came out alright. She wasn't sure about the second batch as they were in the oven when I picked her up.

Ryan is settling into his new job. There is still a lot he needs to figure out with dealing with his to-do list and time management. But he doesn't have a million meetings during the day anymore, so his "free" time to accomplish all those things is greater. It also leaves him with the ability to come home early or more on time than he was able to before. It's great on days like today where I had a massive headache. He was able to be home by 5:30 and make dinner while I started my crazy Wednesday pickup/dropoff routine.

We have been struggling with the kids and computer time. It's always a game of tattletale with each other to tell who's been on the most to justify themselves their right to be on the computer. Ryan looked into seeing what we could do to 1- give the kids access, and 2- set a time limit for each kid. He found it! And was able to set up logins for each of the kids that had a timer on each account. Once they log in to their account the timer begins its countdown. Once an hour is up they're logged out until the next day. It's AWESOME! No more fights about who's turn, who's had it the longest, when they can get back on. Once their time is up, they're DONE.
