Today was a good day. We cleaned up the house a bit and everyone had to clean their bedrooms in order to go out for lunch. With some help for the little ones, everyone was able to go. Except for Kyra. She didn't want to clean, even though Addy did most of the work, and their room was messy! We warned her that she wouldn't be joining us and she was OK with that. It was kind of weird not having her with us, but at the same time, I think she liked having the quiet time alone.
Joselyn got some new shoes today. The last shoes she had were similar to converse hightops. I told her when she wanted them at the store, that they weren't a good choice because they're a pain to put on. But she assured me that she "looooved" them and they were "perfect", and she wouldn't get mad when the shoes were frustrating to put on. Well, guess what? She hates them, they suck, and she always got mad when they were hard to put on. So, today we bought her a different pair of shoes. Hopefully, these fair better than the last ones.
It was a lovely day together as a family. I love Saturdays like this where they are mostly low key and we can just be together.
