THE SUN WILL COME OUT, TOMORROW!!!

I'm so glad that tomorrow is a new day. Today seemed like nothing went the way it was supposed to. Breakfast took longer to make than we thought it would- sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwiches on English Muffins, YUM. The kids got off to school on time, but some forgot their lunches. I was actually early to the pickup line at the intermediate (5th & 6th-grade campus) only to have Addy call me, while I was in the line, and tell me she was staying after to work on a project. Our no screen time turned into screen time when the kids realized I'd somehow forgotten to block the Apple Fire Box on our TV. So guess what I heard when the kids were told it was time for bed??? That's right!!! Joselyn has homework she didn't do because she was watching TV. Still not sure when it's due, but she gets an early wake-up to do it in the morning. Dinner was late because I didn't have enough of one of the main ingredients. It was delicious (Honey-lime chicken enchiladas), but at least two of the kids, immediately upon seeing it, told me emphatically that they didn't like it...repeatedly. And it was a two-hour battle to get Brianna to stay in bed and go to sleep. Not to mention that as the missteps of the day piled up the crankier I became.

Here's hoping that not only is tomorrow a (warm) sunny day- I'm so over winter- but that it's a smoother, more productive day as well!
