The plan over the weekend was for Ryan and I to tackle our closet and get it all decluttered and organized. Weeeellllll, that didn't happen so we started today. He began while getting ready for work by determining what in his pile of clothes that came out of the dryer he was keeping. And then I came in during the day to clear out my clothes, pull out all the stuff we've shoved in there, and clean up the floor.
Here are my donate piles. Each pile has close to 8-10 shirts and there's a pile of 10+ pants. I probably paired my wardrobe down by half today.
I still need to go through Brianna and Layla's clothes that are hung up, and the laundry piled up on Ryan's side of the closet. Ryan needs to go through his clothes. And we both need to go through the pile in our room of all the other stuff we had in there and figure out where to put it.

The kids are taking notice of the changes and making comments on why we are doing this or where I've moved things, or when I'm going to do their stuff. I'm glad they're paying attention and realizing we want to make our home look nice and not so messy. We still have a ways to go with the cleaning and getting the kids to be more helpful, but we're getting there little by little.
