DAY OF REST

After a rushed morning getting ready, since we still haven't quite figured out our timeline for getting ready and getting to church on time with the new start time at church, we made it just a few minutes late. We would have been on time if we hadn't hit so many red lights on the way there. I'm pretty sure we hit everyone between our house and the church building for nearly the whole stop cycle each time.

We are enjoying the new schedule, but MAN, 20-minute class times FLY by. So much to cover and keep the kids engaged in. Hopefully, they're learning something, too.

Ryan is still adjusting with his medicine. It is helping, but only a little bit. He still has a ways to go before he's back to normal. He's struggling, but we are trying to work together and he's working with his doctor to get him healthy again.

During lunchtime today, Kyra was helping out and getting frustrated because everyone was talking at once. Well, in typical Kyra fashion, she got mad. When she got mad she threw what was in her hand. What did she throw, you ask? Her phone! 😩 Her phone is a goner. So she is without a phone for a while until she can earn another one. Again.

After yesterday's productivity, it seems we were just taking it easy. The kids played games, played on their tablets and watched shows, I slept for a bit and played games with the kids, and Ryan played games with the kids and on the computer. Just a mellow day.
