HAPPY 4TH OF JULY- 2017

Our Fourth of July started with a parade...and CANDY! A neighborhood by our church building has a parade every year and this year we decided to check it out.

For the last ten years, the Fourth of July has been an extended celebration with Addy's birthday and the same held true this year.

One activity Addy wanted to do was to go roller skating. Figuring the kids were all big enough to try we gave it a go.

It was HARD! Even mom and dad, who are WAAAY out of practice, were a little cautious. The kids fell. A lot. And there were tears and frustrations. But they kept getting up again and again and kept trying.

Dinner was an American spread of homemade burgers, hot dogs, bratwurst, French fries, and ice cream or red, white, and blue popsicles for dessert.

Ryan decided to get a few sparklers and other little fireworks for the kids to celebrate. They had a blast, but it kinda freaked them out. All except our little pyro Brianna. She had NO fear!

Overall a great day of family and celebration!

HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!!!
