FUN IN THE SUN

Today we met up with some old friends from Lewisville (where we lived prior to moving to Fort Worth). It was so nice to see them again as we haven't seen each other's families since last summer.

The kids loved playing in the fountains or as my friend, Melissa said, "The closest thing these kids get to running in the sprinkler in the back yard." I had to agree since grass in Texas is fraught with perils such as, prickly burrs, chiggers, fire ants, and many more unsavory things.

As you can tell having friends along on your adventures make adventures even more fun and enjoyable.

PS- Layla was there, I promise. She just is a lot more shy/cautious about getting in there and getting wet, so she didn't get her picture taken playing.
