BOTANICAL GARDENS- MADRID

Just a short way down the street from the Prado Museum is Madrid's Botanical Garden. It was mid-late Spring so many of the flowers and trees were in bloom. They had many beautiful flowers right in the middle of a busy downtown city, yet the area was peaceful.

My favorite was the tree that had flowers bunched together that looked like popcorn with some fun tasty toppings. My second favorite was looking up through a tall tree and seeing the sunlight shine through the leaves and branches. It was such a beautifully sunny day that the leaves seemed to glow.

I'm glad we took the time to stop and wander around the gardens. It was a nice chance to see and appreciate God's work and beauty.
