This year I made a concerted effort to make sure there was something to do every day during spring break. I did not want me or the kids to go stir crazy sitting at home because that just leads to fighting, whining and yelling- in other words, NO FUN!
Day 1 was mostly a cleaning day. I told the kids that if we get that all done we can go to the park. They were less than helpful (no surprise there) so it took a while to get everything done. We didn’t end up at the park until after Dad got home, but it was worth the wait.
We drove out to a park in Grapevine called Dove Park. The little kids- Griffin, Joselyn, Layla and Brianna- and I had been to the public splash pad last May, but it was too hot to check out the park. I’m so glad we made the effort to try it because it was AWESOME!!!
Slides, things to climb, swings, and A ZIP LINE!!! The kids were in heaven.
