Elf on the Shelf- Day 1
The Arrival
This year I thought the kids would get a kick out of Elf on the shelf. I've known about this little guy for years, but held off until they could appreciate it a little more.

The kids woke up on December 1st to a special present under the tree.

The gift was to all the kids, from Santa.

| It's "Elf on the Shelf" |
For those unfamiliar. The Elf on the Shelf arrives, you name him, never touch him (or he loses his magic) and watches over the happenings to report back to Santa.

| Meet "Blizzard" |
This has been so fun for the kids. They love finding him each day and seeing where he'll end up next.

| Blizzard's Birth Certificate |
Blizzard came with a book explaining that the Elf is one of Santa's helpers. Every night he uses his magic to return to the North Pole and report to Santa if the kids have been naughty or nice. He then comes back and hides or makes mischief in a new location.
