Day 4- The Community Nativity
The Carrollton Stake has a Nativity display every year. They gather various nativities from generous folks willing to allow them to display them and invite the public (for free) to come see it. It was AMAZING!!! The younger two kids weren't much into it as they weren't allowed to touch and it was a bit late. I, however, wanted to take a picture of everything and then to show them all here, but alas, I had to pick and choose the best of the best. Here we go!
Alaska
Animal Nativities
Brazil
Egypt
Germany
Nativity Snow Globes
India
Ireland
Japan- it looks like origami
I loved the faces
Philippines- Rolled up paper
I thought this looked quilt-like
These are made out of potato chip bags
Ukraine
"Ho, Ho, Ho!"
Stained Glass
The "I spy..." List
The nativities were so wonderful and diverse. The kids were given a list of objects within the nativities to search for. Some were easy to find, some not so much. With much diligence and with mom and Kyra going back a second time, we were finally able to find them all. I put some of them in the pictures above. Can you find them???
