Carving Pumpkins
The girls were very excited about carving pumpkins from the moment they were brought home. When we started they dove right in, after a little encouraging that is.
Mom and Addy worked together to get the pumpkin cleaned out.
Kyra really got into it and really enjoyed getting in the pumpkin to try and get the biggest handful of pumpkin guts she could.
The girls made it into a bit of a competition to see how big a handful they could grab and pull out of the pumpkin.
We had a busy evening, so Dad came home early to join in on the fun. He and Kyra worked together to get her pumpkin cleaned out.
Griffin wanted nothing to do with the pumpkins. Even after Mom tried to get him involved in cleaning the pumpkins out he completely refused. I didn't blame him one bit.

Addy and Kyra showing off their Jack-O-Lanterns. They got to design their own pumpkin faces and Mom and Dad did their bests to bring their designs to life.

The carnage
The clean up wasn't too difficult since most of the mess was confined to the newspapers.
Trunk-or-Treat
Every year a family friend organizes a trunk-or-treat at a local park for the kids and families to attend. It's super fun and the kids have a blast eating, playing, dressing up and trunk-or-treating.
Tinkerbell got a bit chilly once the sun went down, but she had a great time.
Superman loved going to the playground and going on the swing.
Ariel was one of about six to show up that night. She had such a great time running around with her friends.
Our little China girl enjoyed being there despite a bit of a cold.
Trick-or-Treating
We decided to get together with some friends and go to their neighborhood to trick-or-treat. They have a street nearby called Hershey St that goes all out decorating. The kids had a blast and we all really enjoyed going.
Tink- Addy LOOOOOOOVES Tinkerbell. No lie. It's all she talks about. And she really does kind of look like Tinkerbell when she has her hair up in a little poof.
Superman and Viking Boy

This is the view we had of Superman most of the night. He was totally in to it and literally RAN from door to door.
Rapunzel and Tink had so much fun hanging out and trick-or-treating together.
A rare view of Superman's face.
The kids had mixed reactions to all the scary decorations. Most of them thought they were fun, but one or two were a bit freaked out at times at how scary and realistic some of the decorations were.
