Spring Break- San Antonio- Sea World

This past March my sister decided it would be fun to have us all get together and head down to San Antonio for Spring Break. She rented a house for the four days we were going to be there and it was so much nicer and cheaper than trying to get all 13 of us in a hotel.

While we were there we went to Sea World. It was so great to be able to spend time with the family and do something as fun as this. The day started off pretty cool, but it ended up being a bit warm in the afternoon. The kids loved seeing all the shows and animals. We all had some sort of season pass, so we decided that Sea World would be a two day event. It was really nice to know we didn't have to rush to see everything in one day and be able to enjoy the time we spent together.

The Clyde and Seamore show. It hasn't changed in YEARS, yet it's still so much fun to watch. Today the animals were more interested in playing and being naughty (they actually started spraying the audience as we were leaving) than acting.

Kyra loved the shows. She was very into watching the animals.

In the Kiddy area they have several rides. The older cousins decided they wanted to go on them. This one goes straight up and then bounces its way down. They loved it and went on several more times.

At Dolphin Cove we were able to get up close and personal with the dolphins. While all the kids loved watching the animals they were less than excited about being able to touch them. This fella (at least I think it's a fella) decided to take a rest on the bottom of the tank. He stayed there for several minutes before taking off.

We also fed them. That was fun...for the adults as, my kids at least, wanted absolutely nothing to do with touching the fish or getting it close enough for the dolphins to eat it.

The kids loved seeing all the fish and sharks. They were running around crazy trying to see it all.

Back to the cars at the end of a fun day.

Thanks Erin for thinking of this and getting it all put together. We had a great time.
