Christmas at the Zielke's- 2008: Part 4- Christmas Eve Night

Christmas Eve was a good day. We were going to go and play Glow Golf, but due to everyone's wake up schedule and just not getting our acts together we didn't get around to it. So we just hung out at home playing and enjoyed being together.

It took me until after lunch to realize that it really was Christmas Eve.

After dinner we all gathered in the living room to open our traditional Christmas Eve gift.

Mom/Gramma Zielke took care of the jammies, but Ryan and I decided to get our kids slippers too. I've wanted to get them slippers for a while and thought that Christmas Eve would be a nice time.

After putting the the kiddos to bed we had Family Home Evening (FHE). I really wanted to bring the adults together and have FHE. The lesson was on the Gifts of Christmas, or more specifically, The Gifts of Christ. I personally enjoyed giving the lesson and hearing everyone's perspective on each gift. The spirit was so great and I hope that it touched us all. It was really nice and was yet another reminder of true meaning of Christmas.
