Kyra became the last of us to see the doctor in a three day period. It wasn't for the sniffles or an ear infection, but for this...
Pink Eye...eeeeewwwwwwwwww!
She woke up Friday (11/7) from her nap with a gross looking eye. I was hoping it wasn't what I knew it was, but to no avail. So I called the doctor to see if they'd prescribe her something without seeing her. They said no because they like to make sure it isn't from an ear infection and so we were off to the doctor's office--again!

After the nurse and the doctor gave her one look they too knew that she had pink-eye. The doctor even commented that it's been a long time since she'd seen pink-eye that bad.

They gave her some antibiotic drops for her eyes (the bottle is the size of a quarter and costs a small fortune ounce for dollar). This is her after only two drops. It looks so much better and doesn't ooze anymore...thank goodness. It was nasty.

Addy, however, has had a different set of eye troubles. Thursday I took the girls for a drive and stopped at Walmart for a thing or two. Since we weren't getting much I put Addy in the basket. While we were stopped and looking at stuff she somehow fell OUT of the cart and hit her eye on the ground (above and to the left of her eye- about where her eyebrow ends). She cried, I gave lovin's and then promptly buckled her into the cart and headed home.

The very next day she was trying to get something from the bottom of a small trash can when she lost her balance and fell into the side of the table. This time she hit the other eye (slightly below and to the right of her eye).

So now she has two black eyes. I feel like we can't let her out in public for fear that someone will call Child Protective Services on us.
