Colds, the Flu and Ear Infections, Oh, My!

Our November has been ravaged with illnesses. All of us have been inflicted in one way or the other.

Addy I think has had the brunt of it. It started off with a cold--fever, stuffy nose, coughing, watery eyes, the works.

And ended up in a double ear infection.
Which she is now taking antibiotics for.

Kyra is fairing through all this nicely. She is yet or will be the last of us to be sick.
I just feel bad because she has been mostly left on her own while we all fight our own battles with our respective illnesses.

She is in good spirits though. I just hope she doesn't get sick at all or we will be spending much of the next week like we have spent this last week only with a different kid. But from the coughing in the background coming from her, it's only a matter of time.

Kim has been hit pretty good herself. On Sunday she had a bought of the stomach flu with turned into the real flu two days later. She stayed home from work Tuesday and Wednesday sick and to take care of Addy. The doctor checked her ears, just in case, and said that they were clear of infection.

Ryan has been pretty healthy through it all or just not showing how bad off he really was. Especially since the doctor informed him that he too has a double ear infection.

Most of us are on the mend or medicated enough to be heading in that direction soon. Hopefully this will be over soon and we can all be healthy once again.
