Pumpkin Patch- 2008

A nice family in Flower Mound (the city right next door to Lewisville--where we live) are wonderful enough to turn their farm into a pumpkin patch every year. It is complete with hay ride, wooden cut-outs of any and every kid movie, hay mazes and bounce houses.

This year we decided to go one evening after Ryan come home from work. The traffic wasn't too bad yet and getting there was quicker than expected. The greatest part is that everything but the food and the pumpkins are FREE.

The girls had a blast in the bounce houses, slides and obstacle courses.

The Hay Maze
Addy trying to find her way through the hay maze. Kyra was suppose to be helping her, since it was too small for us adults, but she was left to find her own way. She had fun running around.

Kyra loves this little maze and ran through it at least a half a dozen times.

Wooden cut-outs.
Kyra snuggling up to Dumbo. It has become one of her favorite movies as of late.

Addy hanging out with the cast of "Finding Nemo."

They also had little buildings and wooden trains the kids could play in.

Here are the girls pretending to be in jail.

It wouldn't be a trip to the pumpkin patch without the obligatory picture of the kids with the pumpkins. I just love these pictures.

We had so much fun as a family doing all the great things they had at the Pumpkin Patch. We didn't get pumpkins here as they are WAY expensive, but we did get some later that week.

Kyra hasn't stopped asking about Halloween since.
