Day at the Park
(OK, actually the pictures are over a few days)
The weather has really become nice. You can tell that Spring has sprung. The birds are singing, the trees are looking green, the weather is warmer and the infamous Texas sized thunderstorms are back.
On one of these nice days our family decided to take a walk to the park. Earlier that day I was at Wal-Mart and found these really cute $1 kites. I bought one for each of us and we decided that it might be windy enough to fly them. So off we went.

Kyra was more interested in playing on the playground than flying kites. She is a climber and loves to slide so sitting and watching a kite fly wasn't her idea of a fun time at the park. She did have fun running with the kite to keep it airborne with the wind started to die down.
Fear not! Daddy took over while Kyra was playing on the playground.
