Christmas at the McPhersons!

After spending a wonderful Christmas at home with Grandma Zielke, Grandpa Zielke and Kyle, we skipped town to see my family in Houston. They moved in to a new house a week before Thanksgiving, so we were eager to see it all decorated.

This is their new house. It's VERY nice!

For Christmas Grammy and Papa bought a jump house for the kiddo's to play in. The weather was so nice at times that we sent the kids out to get rid of some energy.
Kyra climbing in.

Stopping to pose for the camera.

And sliding out the other side.

Kyra, Ellie, and Owen all loved jumping and sliding down.
Good gift, Grammy and Papa.

Since we weren't there over Christmas day, we opened our gift the evening we got there.
Daddy and Addy opening their presents.

Mom and Kyra enjoyed opening gifts together.

(To read more about Christmas day at the McPherson's, you can check out my sister's blog.)

Daddy and Kyra had lots of help from Ellie. She was most helpful in speeding the process up. She is a very enthusiastic present opener. :~)

The kids (or maybe the parents) got TV/DVD players to put in the car for long trips. Kyra seemed to really enjoy it and was much more pleasant than usual.

Much to our surprise and excitement Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus-McPherson bought us a 37-inch, High Definition, flat screen TV.
Needless to say we liked the gift very, VERY much. (more pictures to come.)

GG McPherson (Great-Grandma) came to visit. Her visit wasn't exactly how she anticipated as she spent a good portion of it in the hospital, but she really enjoyed seeing her great-grand kids.
This picture is just tooooooo precious.

As we are gluttons for punishment we tried to get our whole family (dog and babies included) to sit down, sit still, look at GG, and smile to take a family picture. As you can see we weren't able to get all of those done at the same time...but such is life.
(The sign says, "We miss you, Pat!")

A pretty good picture of our little family.

Merry Christmas Everyone!
