We have been on our current ward (congregation) for 7 months now and Ryan FINALLY received a calling (assignment). He was called to be the 11-year old scout master. He is super geeked (excited- for those that don't speak McPherson) about the calling. So excited that he pulled his old scouting stuff out.

Here he is once more after we bought him a new shirt with most of the necessary patches.Our church sponsers those scouts who are members. The church has put a big emphasis on this age group because they have found that this is a pivital time in scouting. It is the time when the boys tend to decide whether or not to continue in scouting. Yeah, no pressure!!!
He attended his first scout meeting a week and a half ago. He was sooooooooo nervous. I think it will take a bit of time to get into the swing of things, but he will do GREAT! He already has good ideas about how things should go.
