Yes, that said "Poo Poo"!!!!! Kyra has decided that her poop makes lovely, and fragrant,
finger paint. As I've mentioned before Kyra is potty training. She has been very good about going poo poo on the potty. She will either go in her diaper during nap time or have a poo related accident once a week or so. She has become more and more successful, yet we still have our off days...off the potty that is.
Well, lately it hasn't been any different, except for the fact that yesterday (as we are getting ready for church) and again today I realize that after putting Kyra down for a nap she is quite noisy for much longer than usual. So both days I go into her room to put her back to bed only to find that her walls nearest the door, the door, the carpet, and Kyra are covered in a lovely shade of brown. I will spare you the pictures (as there aren't any) of her art work for the time. I don't want to encourage the behavior by taking pictures.
Lets just chalk this one up to creativity and a super helping of nastiness!

Her are some more pictures from Labor Day weekend and the past week. I thought I would add some fun pictures after that yucky story.
Enjoy!!!
Kyra and Daddy in the pool.
Kyra is quite fearless and trusting that her parents (or grandparents) will be there to keep her afloat.
Kyra and mama. Being sweet.
A girl after her mother's heart. I played softball for nearly 10 years and Kyra is becoming quite the batter. She also counts to three before hitting. It's quite cute.
Kyra likes to sit and lay in the grass. I am paranoid about ants and get a bit freaked out by her touching the grass with anything but her feet with shoes on. Maybe one day we'll live in a place where fire ants and other creapy crawlies don't bite you while you are enjoying yourself outside.
Kyra helping Addy get her hair wet. Addy is starting to realize that her sister is pretty fun. She will sit and smile at Kyra, when she is out of Kyra's arm's reach. :~)
Anatomy class by Dr. Kyra.
Another picture of Kyra teaching Addy the words and movements to "Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes."
Our little family in the pool. Kyra likes to pick Addy up and bring her to us. This scares the beegeebers out of me every time and fortunately Kyra hasn't full out dropped Addy. She has rolled her off the couch. Addy was fine and didn't even cry.

Addy is doing much better. She doesn't seem to cry as much or as hard lately. She has become quite the mama's girl and will strongly protest if daddy tries to hold her. This is problematic as I hate to listen to my kids scream so hard they nearly throw-up, thus having Ryan wake up with the girls (Addy in particular) is out of the question when this happens. She has had a stuffy nose for almost 2 weeks now. This makes it hard for her to breath and causes her to wake up more often at night if we don't give her any Tylenol. Otherwise, she is a very sweet and loving baby. It has been really nice that she isn't as fussy anymore. We tried giving her different formula for a while and when this didn't help matters we decided to go back to our regular formula. We have just modified how we feed her to try to reduce her reflux. She eats sitting more upright, even when nursing, and she is either held or propped up for a bit after eating. This seems to have made a world of difference.
Addy sitting outside watching her sister play t-ball.
Mom and Addy swimming.
Daddy and Addy enjoying the water.
