Giant Babies and Sleeping Beauty

Hello all!!!!

I just returned home from our last doctor's visit for Adeline. We were able to get another sonogram to see how big she is getting and to see how she is doing. Well, lets just say I wont be having a preemie when I deliver next week at 38 weeks gestation. According to the sonogram measurements (which can be up to a pound off plus or minus) our sweet Adeline Grace is measuring a whopping 9 pounds, 2 ounces!!!!! The doctor came in and said "Yeah, we need to get you delivered soon." I then asked if next Tuesday wasn't soon enough. She said that should be fine. She is worried that if Adeline (who is gaining about a pound a week) grows any more that I wont be able to deliver without a c-section. Personally, I prefer not to go that route either, so Tuesday is the big day!!!

Kyra is having fun with her mama at home. Unfortunately, it has been raining like crazy lately with no end in sight. So, we've been stuck inside quite a bit. This is why I think her naps have been so off lately. In the last 2 days, she has either not taken a nap or falls asleep at 5 pm. That wouldn't be so bad if she didn't go to bed at 7.

The other day she did take a nap, but it was kind of early, so around 4:30 while she was watching "Kiky" (Mickey Mouse Clubhouse) for the umpteenth time, so laid down on the floor and fell asleep.

She woke up a bit earlier than I would have liked this morning, 6 am sharp! She has been very attached to her blanket and a cute little green bunny she got for Easter. This would have been a cuter picture if she was really asleep.

Work has slowed down a bit for Ryan since his project was delayed, but he is still stressing to get all the work done he needs to before taking next week off for Adeline's birth. I think the pressure may have gotten to him...What do you think???

As for me, I'm just hanging in there until our giant baby arrives and hoping that Kyra becomes more of a sleeping beauty. That way mom can get her own beauty rest before the chaos of having two kids becomes a reality.

We will keep you all posted to Addy's "big" arrival. Until then take care and love you all.
