Hi there family and friends,
Sorry it has been so long since our last update. Here is the dish on us.
Ryan:
We celebrated father's day a bit early in our house. Kyra (ok, really it was Ryan) bought mama a really nice pair of earrings, so Kyra (really Kim) thought a BBQ was in order for daddy. Kim was a little hesitant to buy him one because he has never really mentioned the desire to have one, but the gift was an overwhelming success. Ryan was particularly interested in putting it together himself with minimal help from others. He was able to get it up and running and we've eaten a number of meals on it already. They have been really yummy.

Here is Ryan with his new grill. He looks very manly standing next to his grill...don't you think? We were cooking marinated pork tenderloin.
Other than the new BBQ Ryan has been very busy at work. He has a major project due very, very soon so he has been working crazy, mad hours to try to get it all done. Needless to say we will ALL be happy when this project is over. :)
Kyra:

Kyra is growing up and getting big, but not so big as to fill her daddy's shoes.

For father's day we also bought a pool for us to enjoy. We got one that was big enough for mom and dad to enjoy too. Kyra loves being in the water and loves it even more if mom and/or dad goes in with her.
Kyra spent almost a week in Austin with her cousins the first full week of June. Kim had to do one more week at work and Kyra's babysitter started school, so Auntie Erin said she would watch her. Needless to say it was a rough week for mom and dad not to have their baby girl home with them. And a little difficult for Auntie Erin to have three kids...two of them toddlers.

Kyra was in rare form yesterday. She was still. So in order to take advantage of the situation Kim decided to French braid Kyra's hair. It turned out pretty well.
Kim:
Kim is officially done with work. She has done all that was required for her fellowship and her supervisor gave her rave reviews.

Kim is now 35 weeks pregnant and counting down the days until baby Addy is here.
Kim had a doctor's appointment yesterday to check out how the pregnancy is progressing. The doctor also guessed as to how big Addy may be right now. She thought she was close to, if not, 6+ lbs. already!!! This freaked Kim out seeing as Addy can gain anywhere from 1/2 lb to 1 lb a week, with 5 more weeks to go. Kim informed the doctor that she did not want to deliver a big baby, so the doctor scheduled another sonogram (yea!!!!!) to see how big Addy really is and then decide when to induce. Kim likes her due date (7-17-07), but if Addy is going to be a giant, then earlier looks good too. We will find out next week which route we will end up taking.
