We found out this past week that the doctor is going to take pity on me and induce me 2 weeks early. The last estimate of our sweet Addy Grace put her at 7 pounds, 11 ounces with 4 weeks left to go. This put me in a bit of a cleaning/nesting frenzy about the house. I woke up the next morning and went to town and this weekend I recruited Ryan.
We started with the spare bedroom. We cleaned out the closet and and put up our old bed. We figured with all the company we are going to have over the next few weeks, we should make it comfortable. We now have an official spare bedroom.
We then worked on Kyra's room. We cleaned it up and took down the crib and set it up in our room. A bit of a sad time...our little girl is growing up [sniff, sniff].
We finally took the plunge and decided to put Kyra in her very own "Big Girl Bed." We put the Sofa/Bed in her room to use. Kyra picked out the bed set herself. We set out a few acceptable choices and she made the final decision.
Right now we are trying to get her to go to sleep in her new "Big Girl Bed." She is having a hard time at it. Ryan and I have been in to put her back into bed at least a half-a-dozen times each. I think that she is a bit scared of her new bed and needs a little extra lovin'.
She was really excited about it when we were making her bed, but now I don't think she is as enthusiastic about it.

I was trying to give myself a little pedicure and Kyra saw me doing it, so she thought she would give herself a pedicure also.
We made guacamole one night for dinner. We were smart enough not to start with guacamole (or that would be all she had for dinner). She is a bit obsessed when guacamole is around.
