A Very Zielke Easter

Happy belated Easter everyone!!!

I hope that your Easter was as fun and exciting as ours.

On Saturday (Apr. 7th) we spent the afternoon dying eggs. Kyra really enjoyed dropping the eggs into the dye. She is still working on the concept of gentle, so the dropping was a bit rough. Fortunately we didn't lose any eggs. She really wanted to see what was in the cups and we had several close calls when she almost dumped the cups of dye on herself.

Kyra also enjoyed chillin' while the white, boring eggs sat and became beautifully colored eggs.

Mom and Kyra enjoyed seeing the eggs come out of the cups. She really wanted to color the eggs herself, but allowed mom to help once and a while.

Daddy really enjoyed helping his little girl celebrate Easter.

Kyra was a little confused as to why her crazy parents wanted her to find these funny colored eggs. She was very possessive of her eggs at first, but once she realized that there were more eggs than she had eggs she was more willing to give them up. Until that is she found the last one and then mom had to pry the egg out of her hand so she would look at her Easter basket.

Kyra's Easter basket was filled with things to color and tons of bubbles. These are her most favorite things to play with right now. It was all a big hit.

Kyra really enjoyed exploring her Easter basket. She went straight for the crayons and wanted to color. The other things were looked at in turn and she really liked it all...even the pink plastic "grass."

Here is Kyra with her Easter dress. She looks so grown up these days, especially in her dress with her hair done up.

Here is Kyra giving her Daddy a Easter kiss.

After the girls got all dressed up daddy took a picture of his pretty girls.

Happy Easter everyone!!!
