I know two blogs in one day!!! What have they done with Kim...it's so not like her. Well there is a lot to talk about today.
On Saturday, we decided to just relax, sleep and hang out at home. Well I thought that was fine until I got a little antsy and needed to get out. Mostly I wanted to check out the mattress sale going on at "The Dump." So at about 5:00pm we finally decided to get dressed for the day and take our adventure. I have been itching for a new bed lately. I have appreciated the bed we have, since my aunt and uncle gave us a new mattress they had for free when they moved to Texas about 4-5 years ago. But the mattress has become comfortable to me. Ryan can sleep anywhere, so it hasn't bothered him at all. Anyway, I digress. We are now dressed and off to "The Dump." We get there and start looking. We start looking at prices and see that yes they are fairly low for mattresses and this gets us excited. We then sit and try to figure out if it is another Queen size we want or a King. After some discussion Ryan says we should go ahead and get a King size. I definitely don't object and we set off again to find "the mattress." We go and test the mattress by laying and rolling on them. Kyra was a bit crazy while we were looking so we tested the mattresses out with her by plopping her on them and seeing how much she laughs and crawls around. We knew she liked it when she didn't get off right away to run around some more. We left the store with a receipt to a new King sized mattress and a delivery date. Yea!!!
Kyra has really enjoyed having mom and dad home with her this weekend. She has been very happy and loves the attention.
She likes being let into our room in the morning and waking the other one of us up. This morning it was Ryan's turn to sleep in, so Kyra did her duty by crawling in bed with him and giving him good morning kisses. It was too cute and I had to take a picture.
