A New Year Has Begun!

Happy New Year!!!!!

This past year has just flown by.

Most of our news you have already heard, such as...Kim starting to work, Kyra turning the big bad 1 year old, Ryan loving his job, and so on. What may be new news to some is that this year will be pretty amazing also. We found out in November that we are expecting another little bundle of joy. The new addition is scheduled to make their arrival on July 17, 2007. With Kim working it has taken a lot out of her and we think that is the main culprit to her more severe bought with morning sickness this time around. Others just think she is having a boy. As for us...we don't have a clue.

Christmas time was a really nice break for us. We were able to spend some time with both families. We spent the first half of our Christmas vacation in Houston. It was Kim's Grandmother's 80th birthday and to celebrate all of Grandma's kids and most their kids and all of their kids made their way to Houston. It was nice to be able to see everyone again and celebrate not just one birthday, but two on Christmas day. It was a bit crazy having 14 adults and 3 babies all in one house, but it just made us all get a little bit closer.

As is our tradition in Texas we like to heat the pool and go swimming on Christmas Eve and/or on Christmas day. Most of the boys jumped right in. Kyra actually wanted to join in the fun, so she went swimming too. Now it was REEEEAAAALLLLYYYYY cold those days so she didn't stay in very long. Kim went in on Christmas day, but we wont horrify you with a picture...you're welcome!

The second half of our Christmas vacation was spent in Iowa. Thankfully the Zielke's managed to warm the place up for us, as it was unseasonably warm (in the 40's-50's) up until the day we left. Kyra was able to get her first real glimpse of snow while we were waiting for our plane to take us back to good ol' Texas. All of Ryan's family (siblings and in-laws) were able to make it again this year and it was nice to see everyone again. During this trip we were able to meet Hailey for the first time. Kyra loved giving her little cousin lots of loves and kisses. G & G Zielke loved having their little grandkids around to love on, too.

Other than that we have just been hagging out at home and working. The year is officially half way over for Kim, as the school just started their second semester. She couldn't be more excited to be almost done and finally be able to stay home with her babies.

This past week was an unusual one for Texas. We were hit with the "Arctic Blast of 07" and ended up having a 'snow day'. Ryan unfortunately still had to work, so when the roads were bad he worked from home and when they cleaned up a bit he went in. As for Kyra and mom...well they stayed in their jammies, tried to keep warm and enjoyed the day off.

Well that is all for us for now. If you know of any family or friends that are not receiving out updates, let us know and we will get them on our mailing list. Love you all!!!!!!
