Talk About A Bad Hair Day!!!

We have had a very exciting weekend. We were invited by some friends to go to a waterpark. We really enjoyed being outside and having fun, but mostly we enjoyed watching Kyra play in the water and "swim" around in the pools. She is a bit of a fish when she hits the water. She kicks, splashes and genuinly loves being in the water. She was even able to go down a few slides (with mom and dad of course). While we all got a bit sunburned, we had a blast at the park.

At church on Sunday I put Kyra's hair in two little pig-tails. She looked so cute with them in. She received many complements on her newly aquired cute factor. It is still hard for me to believe, however, that my baby is 9 months old already and has enough hair to pull back into pony-tails.

As a side note, I usually take the rubberbands out of Kyra's hair at night, so in the morning she looks a bit "mad scientist" like. So this morning I took a picture and had to laugh. That made me think of all of you and thought I would start your day with a good picture and a laugh.
