Kim and I have not been on a date since Kyra was born. One of our friends graciously volunteered to watch Kyra for us. We took that opportunity and Friday we went on our first date in months.
I took Kim to a new restraunt called "The Blue Fish". It is a Japanesse resturaunt which was labeled "the best sushi in Dallas." We ordered some alvacado sushi to prep us, "Texan Sushi" Which was cooked steak with bbq sauce, also Salmon Sushi and Tuna Sushi. The first out was the Salmon sushi. I went ahead and started eating it. Kim shortly followed and was eating it without complaint or funny faces. To her surprise she enjoyed it and found out after she ate the sushi (the best idea when she is trying something new) that it was "raw salmon" (the tuna was also raw). So Kim quickly became an expert Sushi eater and enjoyed all the sushi. We ended the date by going to an ice cream palor that serves homemade icecream and Italian style Ice Cream. Overall a wonderful evening.
