There are a few awards that an employee can win at fedex. I was awarded recently with the Bravo Zulu award. January Tsai, my manager, sent the recommendation. This then was approved by Don Gibson, her boss and my director, Then by a vice president, JP Sarkis, then granted by the Senior Vice President of Information Technology, Larry Tieman. The award was given due to "You have shown an uncommon can do attitude in your job as a software developer for fedex.com projects such as SWAB, WGSM, and FWSL; especially a recent Outlook retrieval initiative. Bravo Zulu for your outstanding performance." The award is a certificate and will soon be framed to hang up at my cubical.
