Well it is now noon on tuesday and after our doctor's apointment and a little nap all is well. We went to our appointment this morning to see if anything new was happening in the 8 hours I had been checked last. The good news is that I am now 3.5-4cm dialated, still about 50% effaced (maybe a bit more), and the baby is still too high to help things along. The doctor said that once I start having contractions that really start to hurt that things should move along pretty quick, since I'm about half way there already. Now if things don't move along at all in the next week, on the 5th of October our little (stubborn...like her parents) girl will be born. That's right we will be induced if nothing happens. We asked if there was anything the doctor recommended to move things along. Unfortunately she was of little to no help on that subject. She just suggested walking and moving around a lot. So that is our news for now. We will let you know if anything happens and keep everyone as up to date as possible.
